Speech-to-Note is an innovative mobile application that leverages advanced voice recognition technology to transcribe spoken words into text in real time. Designed to make note-taking faster and more efficient, it allows users to dictate their thoughts, ideas, or meeting minutes without the hassle of typing. The Challenge
When Speech-to-Note first approached us, they were facing several critical issues that hindered the app’s usability and functionality. One of the primary challenges was the inability to record in the background or while offline. This posed significant problems for users who needed to dictate notes on the go, without being tethered to the app or an internet connection. Additionally, their customers were constantly required to carry a laptop, which added unnecessary inconvenience and limited the flexibility of using the app in mobile situations. Our team worked closely with them to address these issues, integrating features that allowed for background recording and offline functionality, enabling users to record notes anytime, anywhere, on any device.
- Limited Recording Functionality (Background and Offline Modes):
A major challenge for Speech-to-Note was the lack of background recording and offline functionality.
